5th – 6th grades
Student needs to be able to write multiple sentences at one sitting. Weekly homework is required for success in this class.
This class will learn the basics of how to research and organize a paragraph. They will write stories and reports with an emphasis on grammar and organization. We will also have some fun with literary devices and creative writing.
Class meets at my home near Mardel (exact address will be given at registration)
Meets Thursdays 1:00 -2:00pm
August 27 – May 6
Costs
- $35 a month (first month due upon registration/ doubles as non-refundable deposit)
- $5 registration/ materials fee
- I accept cash, check, and Venmo
- All deposits are non-refundable
Materials Required
- 1″ binder
- notebook paper in binder for taking notes and doing in-class assignments
- hole-punched folder to go in binder for holding homework
- a small folder with brads filled with 30 sheets of notebook paper
- pencils/pens
- ability to type and print each week
- ability to check Google Classroom weekly
