High school students who were in Lewis last year
This class will practice specific types of essays, write a research paper, and learn annotation and lit critique. We will do some review on timed essays and taking notes from lectures. We will explore some creative writing and learn some new literary devices.
Class meets at my home
Thursdays 2:00-3:00pm
August 27 – May 6
Costs
- $35 a month (first month due on or before May 31)
- $5 registration fee (to hold spot)
- I accept cash, check and Venmo
- All deposits are non-refundable
Materials Required
- 1″ binder
- notebook paper in binder for taking notes and doing in-class assignments
- hole-punched folder to go in binder for holding homework
- a small folder with brads filled with 30 sheets of notebook paper
- pencils/pens
- ability to type and print each week
- ability to check Google Classroom weekly
